Montessori Certified Primary Teacher

Montessori Certified Preschool Teacher
This position will start as an assistant floating teacher during the current 2024-2025 school year, to be a lead teacher 2025-2026 school year based on the candidate's experience.

Requirements:

·         AMS/AMI Montessori Certification for ages 2.5-6 or other MACTE credentialed Montessori certification 

·         At least 1 year of experience working in a Montessori classroom.

·         A love of working with children is a must.

·         Patience, caring, and kindness are required traits.

·        BA in any field, Early Childhood Education preferred 

·       CPR/First Aid certification.

·         Able to lift a child approximately 40 lbs. several times daily if needed.

·         Physical ability to sit on the floor with children when needed.

Job Type: Full-time, 8:00am to 4:00pm, (As a lead teacher, to start will be Part-Time and hours will vary)
Pay is based on experience and education.
